SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: My Kenwood KR-V5570 receiver powers

i had exact problem.
the bare wire speaker cables that connect via a clip connecor in back of the receiver are pushed too far in. something inside is shorting out with the speaker cables. solve this issue by either tightly twistng or soldering the wire ends ( then clip the ends about 1/4 inch long). watch out for the same issue of electrical shorts at the speaker end of the cables.

SOURCE: do not hear the second click on speaker relay on

I will assume no audio is coming out of your speakers.
When the reeciver starts up It looks at the load (resistance) of the speakers attached to see if it is reasonable. If It appears there are no shorts in the speakers then the speaker relay will close (second click) and send signal to your speakers. If there is no second click then either the the reciver is detecting a problem with speakers or cables or the detecting circuit has failed. I would start by disconecting all speakers then start the receiver up. If your not getting a second click after about 4 or 5 seconds then the receiver will need service. If it does click then shut receiver off, and hook up one speaker at a time, then re-start receiver. If one speaker suddenly makes the system fail then you have found your problem. If you have a Volt/Ohm meter, set it to resistance(Ohms) and measure each speaker. Anything Under 4 ohms will be a problem.
Good Luck

Knob broken on Kenwood KR V5570

If you are in the U.S. you can try pacparts.com. You didn't say which knob was broken, so I couldn't research it for you. You should be able to find it there for yourself though.

Hi, My friend (who has a visual impairment) moved house recently, they own a Kenwood KR - V5570, I assisted with re setting up PC etc. I am now baffled with connecting her left and right speakers to this...

If you keep guessing you may succeed in blowing something up.

The cables have RCA connectors or bare wires for a reason.

Get the manual out and read it.

Register and download it for free at retrevo.com

Don't pay too much attention to the actual colors of speaker wire. Use the colors as reference. Each speaker has a plus and a minus. Connect them to corresponding plus and minus for their respective amplifier outputs.
