Question about Personal Cassette Players
I have a Sony Walkman WM-F77. It's an AM/FM portable stereo with Auto Reverse.
When trying to play a cassette, the two spindles that are supposed to turnthe reels of the tape do not move at all. Sometimes they move very slowlyand produce a distorted sound. It cannot play, rewind, fastforward, and auto reverse produces the weirdest results.
However, the spindles move fine when there is no cassette in the deck. Also the radio works fine. I'd like to take it apart and fix it. Does someone have a manual, or has fixed this problem before?
I HAD EXACTLY THE SAME PROBLEM ALL I DID WAS TAKE APART MOVED ALL WHEELS AND COGS IN SIDE AND JUST BLEW OUT ANY DUST CLIPPED BACK TOGETHER AND WORKED FINE PLAYS GREAT HENCE WHY IM LISTING IT ON EBAY.HOPE YOU HAVE SUCCESS
