Goldair dehumidifier GD-2020 has stopped working? 'CONT' light on front panel flashing and now cannot get to operate?

cont button just means continuous run mode . the power light is lit , the full light is out . try reseating the water catch bucket a few times , most machines have a safety that wont allow the thing to operate if bucket isn't just perfect in its slot (you don't want water on your floor )

It wont stay running? The water is empty and the lights still on. Even when you shu it off and turn it back on

Unit wont turn on,,, water full light flashing

is it full of water if not maney times it senses a full tank by a scale on the bottom of the water pan try to pull up on the plate where the bucket sits make shure its not stuck let me know pls jason

Check to see if the styrofoam float is in place correctly. Hopefully this fixes your problem. If the little plastic finger is broken on the float, then it will allways read full. At this point you could use the plastic tube that came with the owners manual to hook up a hose and then have it drain to a drain or try to super glue to finger back together.
