SOURCE: Tile Saw Troubleshooting

if your blade is newer or even well used, one way to make it cut better is find a used brick or a piece of a concrete block and cut through them, what really works best is a carborundum stone that setters use to hone cut edges of tile, you can get 1 at any tile store or home depot for 5 bucks. another trick is to lightly pull up on the table towards end of cut, if they keep breaking at end of cut, and you have the gauge set simply flip tile up side down and start your cut then back it off flip it over and cut through. all saw cuts leave minor chips on cut edge, we always stone cuts. cutting a brick cleans debris off blade. MAKE SURE WATER IS PRESENT WHEN CUTTING

My MK-100 does nothing when I turn on the switch.

Check the brushes for the motor. very common problem in electric motors. It should look like a slotted head of a screw on the side by the motor. Only its plastic and about the size of a dime. After removing the brush, or magnet is what it actually is, replace it. Very cheap to replace and most hardware stores carry them. Hope that helps. Otherwise the switch is bad

My mk470 turns on and is really making a crazy sound but the blade wont turn

The motor on your tile saw is like a grinder, in the head is a set of gears, one on the armature and another at 90-degrees on the arbor. If the teeth on either or both gears are stripped off it will act and sound like you describe. When you move the motor or blade you are putting enough pressure on the gears that they touch enough to move the blade but it will never cut a tile. I have worked on these tile saws and have not been able to find parts for the motor to repair it. The entire motor is available on sites like www.ereplacementparts.com, part number 156428-R, but it's over $200 plus shipping.

My MK370 tile saw has a burning smell and it is making a slight banging noise every 7-9 seconds. The saw is cutting tile fine otherwise.

The problem could be bad brushes. Otherwise, you are probably burning the windings inside your motor. The slight banding noise could be an issue with the bearings in the motor itself. In which case you will soon be replacing the motor, so... we'll hope the brushes prove bad.
Assuming the motor has brushes, there will be 2 semi-large buttons on the motor (one on each side). They are screws. Remove them and beneath each one is a "brush". They should be long, hard, crack free, and smooth on the bottom where they touch the rotor. If not, then replace them. Almost all motors used for tools have brushes and some motors require disassembly of the motor itself to replace the brushes, but in your case, it should be an easy job. I can see one of the buttons on the Amazon picture.
:o)

I have two 101's and both saws have a terrible wobbling. I have put new blades on both and no corrrection. I put the same blades on a 10" target and they boith cut perfectly....i am at a loss

well you might check the belt tension, you can tighten it by loosining the 4 nuts that hold motor then tighten the middle bolt in the back, that slides your motor forward, then retighten the 4 motor nuts.if saw sounds louder than normal, it probably needs new bearings
