SOURCE: my toshiba satellite c640 dont have a bootable device... and it ask for boot disk...

The obvious - Remove any USB devices like drives and any media from disc player. Its trying to load, but can't find bootable hard drive, CD, or USB...

Remove the hard drive and reseat (reconnect). Check BIOS by pressing an F key during boot. Look on the screen for correct Function key. Might be F2 key. Verify BIOS recognizes the drive. It must be listed! There is no going forward if it's not. Check boot order and make internal hard drive first. Save and restart.

SOURCE: I have a Toshiba Satellite C655. The screen is malfunctioning as you can see. The screen has 3 vertical striped lines which has divided the screen into separate parts. The cursor will not pass through

Try updating the video driver on the laptop. The issue could be software related.

Click on the following link to go to Toshiba's downloads page. Select your laptop model and then download the newest video driver.

My laptop screen has divided into 3 parts when i logged in the morning. What shall i do now?

Try playing around with your screen resolution. Make it smaller and then if it's fixed put it back on the recommended size.
If you're using Windows 7 right-click on your Desktop and chose Screen Resolution. Start from there.
There are many similar issues with Toshiba all over the web and I hope you have a warranty for that piece because it could be screen problem... :/
I hope the first will help you out...
Good Luck!

My laptop screen has divided into 3 parts when i turned on the laptop this morning. What shall I do?

It's more than likely a hardware problem you should get checked out if the screen is like that no matter where it is, whether BIOS or on startup. Try going into BIOS and resetting everything to it's default settings to see if that fixes anything.

We have got Toshiba satellite c640 's hard disk problem .

First - re-seat the harddisk and reboot the computer. If the computer does not boot up then reboot andgo into the BIOS configuration to see if the BIOS detects the hard drive. If itdoesn't detect the hard drive then it could be faulty. Then the hard drive needsto be replaced in the computer/laptop, Windows installed and the computer orlaptop's device drivers plus your programs etc. to get a functioningcomputer/laptop again.
