Wireless mouse not working

I just went to the Radio Shack and they replaced my mouse which was not working. It worked in the store. Do I have to reload my cd even though my keyboard is working. Now that I have plugged in my mouse and pushed connect on my receiver it is not working. Can you tell me my problem.

The Mouse you got from Radio Shack, did it have a seperate USB receiver that you plugged into the USB port?
When Radio Shack checked it out at the store and it worked to me means that it should have a seperate receiver not associated with your keyboard.

Disconnect the mouse receiver from the USB Port and reinstall the software from the CD. When the program asks you to plug in the mouse receiver into the USB, do so. It should then work. If not, then use the following info to get the mouse to communicate with the mouse receiver.
Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it to Reset/Connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly.
If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch.
Hope this helps you. Bud

Red light is flashing and mouse will not work - battery?

refer to manual -- but yes, i would say its battery issue -- replace batteries .
if you never replaced battry since you bought it and it is over 2 years old, then you have lithyium type battery .
if it came with lithium battery, take the screw(s) off-- mouse will have lithium battery (size of a quarter), then go to radio shack and buy replacement -- but have RADIO SHACK test your battery before you buy another one, to make sure it is a battery issue.

I need a replacement rechargeable battery for my GP210 mouse. The part #is GP4102. Any idea where to find one? I can't seem to find this anywhere.

For the do it yourselfer... I noticed this forum an hour ago and after looking and searching the web decided I had nothing to lose by trying it myself. I used an exacto to remove the battery compartment door (glued on). Found 3 AAA nickel metal hydride batteries to replace the ones in the unit with. Made the solder connections. Wasn't enough room to replace the battery compartment cover, so used hot glue to keep from rattling. Replaced the battery pack on mouse and looks/works like new. Will post pics and tutorial on instructibles dot com once my taxes are done. : )

Wireless mouse does not work after changing batteries.it always has in the past The Dell computer and mouse is probably 8 years old but has always worked.

Try moving the mouse receivers usb plug in to another port. Unplug any new devices and restart computer. Then replug in any new usb devices.
If still not working.......
Look at Office Depot and other office stores for a replacement wireless mouse. I have seen them as low a $9.99 on up. You might even want to upgrade and get a wireless mouse and keyboard set.

The light on the USB end is no longer blinking and the mouse wont work after installing new AAA batteries.

Hello. I may be able to assist you. Open up your mouse and remove the new batteries. Take the eraser end of a pencil and rub that eraser over the contacts at both ends of the battery chamber. Next, test those "new" batteries [if you don't have a tester you can take them to any radio shack where they can test them for you]. Be sure you have fresh batteries and then double check to be sure you are inserting them correctly.

Please introduce HP wireless Mouse and how to work

The mouse is an extremely popular technology to interact with your computer. While the majority of mice are connected directly to the computers peripheral input via a cord and are powered by the computers main power, wireless mice are becoming extremely popular to give computer users cordless accessibility to their mice and to interact with their computer.
Wireless mice usually work via radio frequencies commonly referred to as RF. RF wireless mice require two components to work properly a radio transmitter and a radio receiver.
