Bought a Krups 467 at thrift shop...after one hour it automatically turns itself off...must be pre-set...I don't want it to go off until I turn it off...how do I stop pot from atuo turning off?
The auto off is configurable as I recall. I don't think you can fully hobble. Coffee kept hot much longer goes bad despite the prolonging powers of the Krups. RTFM online and you should be able to learn the menu command sequence to configure it as you like subject to whatever it allows.

I had same problem. Could not find manual on-line so I tried different techniques. You can reset the auto-off feature to extend the "On" time up to 3 hours max. You do it by (1) placing the control switch in the "Off" position. (2) Simultaneously push the "Hr" and "Min" buttons. The time display will start flashing the hold time. (3) Push the "Hr" button to cycle through the available hold times, 1 - 2 or 3 hours. When set, turn the selector switch momentarily to any other position to finish the programing.
OH Yeah! That is the number one failure in these machines. (owned four of them) The problem is one or both of the "twin" thermal fuses or the thermostat for water heating and hotplate,( one in the same) has gone open. I have tried for a long time to locate correct replacement parts to no avail. I would STRONGLY not recommend trying to bypass as these are not only controls but a safety feature as well. I was lucky a wile back and found one without a carafe at a garage sale. used it for parts, now those have failed also. Really miss them. If I ever find a source for parts I will post it here with replacement procedure.
It means your water filter needs to be replaced. I wouldn't know this either as I found my coffee maker in a thrift shop, but I read it on Epinions a few minutes ago in a review.
Have you had any problems with splashing when brewing - some of the water missing the spout? I lose up to a cup of water and I'm stumped. The goldtone filter has to be pushed to go down into the unit, does this mean I'm putting it too far in and screwing up the stop n pour or something?
Program your Krups AromaControl Therm Time Coffee Maker the night before and wake up to the wonderful smell of your favorite coffee. With the Flavor Release Technology, this innovative machine allows hot water to saturate coffee grounds longer than traditional coffee makers, providing a more full-bodied, richly-flavored coffee without any bitterness. Hermetically sealed, double-wall, stainless steel insulated carafe with drip-free pour spout keeps your coffee hot for hours. Automatic shut off after 2 hours is a great safety feature.
