Clogged drain on LG WM2487HWN washer. how do i clear?

There should be an access door for Pump on front lower left if your unit according to diagrams I am looking at. Remove that small access door. Pump has a screw out filter in front of pump that should be easily accessible. Screw that filter out and clean that and place it screws into. Have thick towels handy as there will be water that comes out when filter is remived. Reinstall filter and access door.

Where is the full filter

I believe there is actually an access panel in front of the second row seat behind the drivers seat that you can access the top of the tank, fuel pump and possibly the fuel filter. Lift up the carpeting and check.
1. Remove the fuel tank cap to lower the fuel tank's internal pressure. 2. Locate access cover. 3. Remove the fuel pump & fuel filter assembly installation screws, then remove the fuel pump & fuel filter assembly from the fuel tank.

On a Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer is there a filter near the water pump that catches stuff before it gets into the pump and causes damage?

Hi, your machine will have filters in a couple of diffierent places. First, on the inlet valves, there are screens that can be accessed by closing your water valves and removing the inlet hoses. Then you can pull the screens out. The other place where water is filtered, is the outlet pump (drain pump). That filter, or screen actually, can be accessed by removing the large metal panel below the door. Behind this panel, you'll find the drain pump, which has an access plug that turns out. Make sure you have a few towels handy to catch whatever water may be in the pump and/or drain hoses.

Good luck.

Got an OE error, now it will not finish rinse and spin, sounds like it is grinding in the spin cycle and the timer is stopped at 27 minutes remaining. What is wrong?

The problem is in the drain system as what error code OE stands for.The grinding noise is coming from the drain pump. Loose change, hair pins and the likes can get into the pump filter and sometimes into the pump impeller causing a grinding noise during the spin cycle because the pump works while the machine is spinning. The pump impeller may also be broken causing the grinding noise.

Disconnect power then open the filter door on the bottom left of the cabinet.

Remove the drain plug and drain the water out completely into a shallow basin or the likes. Once drained, lay a piece of towel under the filter then turn the filter knob counterclockwise and remove it. Clean the filter and reach in the pump impeller to check it if blocked or broken. If cleaning the filter does not solve the problem, you need to access the drain pump assembly and check the pump particularly the impeller thoroughly. Click on the link below for the detailed procedure in accessing the drain pump assembly.

The water wont drain and the is a clicking noise coming out of the water pump motor

Something may be stuck in the pump impeller causing it to make a clicking or rattling noise. Disconnect power then remove the lower front access panel to access the pump filter and the pump impeller.

Remove the three screws attaching the lower front access panel to the cabinet then pull the panel down and off the cabinet. You can prop up the bottom front edge of the washer or cushion and lean it against the wall to access and remove the screws more easily.

Drain the water into a bucket or shallow pan and lay a piece of towel under the pump filter prior to the removal of the filter. Turn the filter knob counterclockwise to remove and clean it. Reach in the pump to check if it is restricted or detached from the pump motor spline. Replace the pump assembly if the impeller is broken or detached.

Where is the fuel filter in the 2002 Kia Sedona?

Hi jlalarcong,
The fuel filter on a 2002 Kia Sedona is actually attatched to pump.
To access the filter you will have to take out the pump, unfortunately this resaults in damaging the pump, and would have to be changed. You can locate the pump/filter in the tank which is accessed from an access pannel on the floor board behind the front seats.
I hope this helps you.

Zanussi IZ 12 pump access

You should not need to remove anything to check and clean pump filter.
Open the filter door at the bottom right front of washer, there you will see the pump filter cover, unscrew the filter anti-clockwise, and remove the filter, and clean same.
With the filter out, you will see the filter housing, which is fastened directly on to the pump, have a good look inside the housing, and see if anything is stuck in there.
Refit filter, and test.
Please rate my fixya solution.
Thanks.
