I have a microsoft arc mouse it stats that divice is ready to use but is not working have any ideas that would work i think that my daughter may have pushed a botton on key board
Its possible- did you buy your mouse and keyboard in a combo package, together?
Either way, I would suggest looking over your user manuals if you still have them, and you can simply follow the first time instructions over again to make it functional
Its also possible that your batteries died (if it uses AA or AAA batteries) or that the drivers were corrupted, causing your mouse to stop working. If your mouse came with a disk that you were instructed to run before plugging in your mouse, I would find it and reinstall the software.
All in all, unless your batteries have died (if it uses AA or AAA batteries, some models do not), the best advice would be to find the manuals and software, and set it up again as if it were brand new.
Best of luck!
