SOURCE: Photo Paper Jams

Based on your question, my first thought is that you changed the type of photo paper you used starting "this week" (when you first posted your question). If you did, the photo paper size/thickness may not be compatible with your printer.

Otherwise, there may be a problem with the paper sensor. Click on the following link and review the troubleshooting steps, particularly Step 2, to see if that helps:

Paper Jam Troubleshooting

Post back your results. If you are still having the problem, post any additional information you think might help solve the problem. Thanks and good luck.

SOURCE: My HP LaserJet 3050 will not grab and feed paper

Open the top as if you were going to change ink cartridges. Find all rollers yuou can and wipe them with a t-shirt type material dry. Do not use any liquids unless you can get some rubbing alcohol. Turn the wheels and claen them as best as is posible. Open the paper jam door and do the same to all rollers in site. Any way you can get to the rollers, use it. This should solve your problem. Also try fanning your paper before loading it. Thanks, Dana

No setting would do that - the error is generated because the photo paper is more slippery than what the rollers can handle so they skid and the difference in their rotation triggers the jam warning message.
Just use a different brand of paper, less glossy.

Wont feed glossy photo paper

Clean the feed roller(s) with a cloth dampened with alcohol. They are probably slippery with paper dust.

2600N: glossy paper

Is this HP glossy paper? I would think that laser printers have a hard enough time handling any glossy paper as it is because you run the risk of the gloss burning as the paper goes through the printer so you might have to use the paper recommended by HP.

Here are the specs of the accepted paper.

Roller fine with regular paper, not photo paper

Try cleaning the feed roller with a strong solution of water and dish washing detergent. You can also remove it and roughen it up with a piece of sandpaper. This is all to help it gain grip on the paper.
