Are you re-stringing the element? if so you need to make sure you have no gaps in the element.

SOURCE: Frigidaire Dryer takes too long to dry.

First thing I would do is to take the drum out of the dryer and make sure the back is not all clogged up with lint. That is a very common problem with Frigdaire dryers. The back is where the dryer draws the heat from and it sounds like you have plenty of heat. The only place the heat will go is up and that may be why you are geting burn marks. I wold also clean out the front where the lit filter is that to gets blocked up. I think if you check all that ad clean it out good the dryer should work just fine.

SOURCE: How do you change the heating element on a frigidaire AEQ6000ES2?

WITHOUT THE MODEL NUMBER THIS WILL BE AN EDUCATED GUESS PRY THE TOP UP AT THE EDGES IN FRONT BETWEEN THE TOP AND FRONT PANEL. THEN INSIDE THE FRONT PANEL WILL BE 2 SCREWS HOLDING THE FRONT TO THE CABINET THEY MAY BE 3-4 INCHES DOWN ON BOTH SIDES UNDO DOOR SWITCH WIRES AND RAISE UP FRONT AND REMOVE. NEXT REMOVE THE THREE SCREWS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DRUM ON THE INSIDE. UNDO BELT OF COURSE AND REMEMBER HOW IT IS ON. AFTER 3 SCREW REMOVAL PULL DRUM OUT AND THERE SHOULD BE ABLE TO SEE HEAT ELEMENT. WHEN INSTALLING NEW ONE FOLLOW DIRECTIONS TO THE LETTER IT MATTERS. GOOD LUCK TO YOU.

Heating element keeps going out

Make sure the water fittings on the top of the water heater are not two dissimilar metals...this causes electrolysis. If you do, you need a dielectric union to connect the two metals ie copper & galvanized steel

Frigidaire oven wont heat up but stovetop and digital all works

Hello angeleyez82 - The EOC (electronic oven control/control board) basically sends power to both the broil and bake elements. As long as the power supply to the range (240VAC) and wiring between the elements is correct, then typically only the element(s) or EOC could prevent the unit from heating. I hope this information helps to some degree.

Hello - Since you have previously replaced the control board and confirmed that the high temp sensor is working fine, unit may possibly have a defective sensor, heating element, power supply or a communication problem with the control board. I suggest contacting a professional to move forward accurately. The technician usually warranties their labor just in case something else may turn out to be the root cause of your initial problem.

My dryer blew its fuse like 6 times, I would go to the garage and click it dryer fuses on and off and at first that worked but no it will run and stay on but just doesnt blow hot air

Hello,

That sounds to me as if the heat element has broken and when it broke a small part of it fell onto the metal housing where the heat element fits into,as a result of the broke element no longer being suppost safe and sound it the housing but instead it sat on the housing and created a short circuit that caused the fuse to blow.

By replacing the heat element it should once again heat and not blow the fuse

Probably the rear bearing has failed and caused the drum to rub against the heating element. Hey, is this the guy that said he heard a noise last month? LOL

Dryer not hot

Tht means that the element is not heating on.

You need to call a technician to test the element, the thermic sensor, and the control assembly.

The most likely is a defective heating element, that must be replaced.
