John Deere Tractor...If you put a battery with more cranking amps than what's called for will it blow fuses? When we start the mower it continues to blow fuses. This was after the battery change.

a battery with a higher crank specification only means that you can spin the engine for longer before the battery goes flat
blowing fuses is from a dead short in the wiring, battery connect up wrong, problem relays
basically the positive of the battery is through the fuse) connected directly to ground at some point

Why would a mdl 1035 john deere tractor keep blowing the starter fuse

There is a distinct possibility that this tractor was originally equipped with a 6 volt system. If it has been upgraded to a 12 volt starter, the ignition will need to have a resistor installed to bring it back to 6 volts.
I could be all wrong on this but it's worth checking.

John Deere L110 what is the 20 amp fuse for?

Hi. That 20A fuse is basically the main fuse. But what is year model and is engine Kohler or Briggs & Stratton? It may depend on the above, but on an L110 the circuits that need to be protected are mainly the Charging Circuit, the Operator Presence Safety Circuits, and power for the Fuel Shut-off Solenoid which is under the carby fuel bowl. If the fuse blows the fuel shut-off solenoid will close and after a few seconds the engine will stop. But even if the engine could keep running the safety circuits would respond as designed and earth out the magneto and that would stop the engine. The engine has an AC "alternator" under the flywheel and a rectifier/regulator which changes the alternator's output current from AC to DC and then regulates it to suit the battery's needs. Depending on engine model this charging system may have up to 16A capability, so that is why the fuse is 20A.
Hope this helped
