I need to replace the sealed bearing in the motor, It seems to be running ok just very noisey. I have repaired motors before but not pool pump types. Do you have to have a puller to remove the bearings???? And do you need to have them pressed on???

If you have the necessary bearing pullers and the replacement bearings and the shop press, then go for it. Otherwise, a new motor is the best bet.

Bearings for electric motor

replacing bearings can be tricky, but if you are willing to try most of these motors use 6203 2rs c3 bearings all for the back bearing, the front could be 3 different sizes. after removing them bring the rotor to your local pool pump motor repair shop, and have them remove and replace. about $20.

I have century lasar pool/spa motor bn50 115volts 16.4/4.4amps 1.5hp 2spd runs on lowspeed but will not run on high speed can it be repaired or what?

I'd start by checking the relay that controls the motor first. Put a meter on it and verify that the high speed terminal is getting voltage. If not, it is the relay or something other than the motor. If the high speed terminal is getting voltage but not kicking on, a fix is possible, but you may want to weigh that against the price of a new motor.

I have a Hayward max-flo ii pool pump and it is very noisy. I already replaced all seals because it was also leaking. Are the bearings the cause of the noise? If so how do I replace bearings?

The bearings have likely lost their lubrication and have failed. You may be able tot find a local electric motor repair shop to replace the bearings. It really is not a diy project. However, if you can't find a local shop to do it, most folks replace the motor.
