SOURCE: my samsung hl-p5067w does not work

I would see if it's the lamp ballast only about $100.00 and easy to replace, it's the part underneath the lamp that fires up the bulb. The light engine itself is over $900 to buy and not worth it! I have same T.V.

I changed the new drum for my HL-2040 printer. But the LED light shown orange. Can I know how I going to do reset for the new drum. Thanks!

  • The Drum LED continues to blink if the drum counter was not reset when you replaced the drum. To reset the drum follow the instructions below:
  1. Open the front cover of the printer
  2. Press and hold down Go button for about 4 seconds until al the LEDs light up. Once all 4 LEDs are lit, release the Go button.
  3. Close the front cover.

Trying to connect PS3 to Samsung HL-S4676S tv using HDMI cable. I get message saying mode not supported

So I had this same problem. I found that when I hooked to a 1080p TV my PS3 was working, however when I hooked to my 1080i it said Not Supported Mode. So I then hooked to the 1080p and told my PS3 to limit it's self to 1080i mode and hooked it to my Samsung TV and it worked just fine. Give that a try and it should solve the problem. Hope this helps.

HL 2170W can't detect new drum

Oen the front cover of the printer.
Press and hold down Go button until all 3 LEDs are lit. Once all 3 LEDs are lit, release the Go button.
Close the front cover. This resets the drum life counter and should be done each time the drum is changed.

My samsung hl-s4676s slim dlp wont turn on. the green light lights up and the normal sounds of start up come on. just a high pitch wine comes in after a few seconds and the screen dont light up at all....

Most likely, there is a capacitor swollen on the lamp starting ballast. If this is the case you will need to replace both the ballast and the power supply.
