Re: the powder cord connection disconnected and we could...
Flip the chair on its side to see the bottom (under the seat). If you see a cover plate, that is where the electronics are. There also may be a fuse that may be blown. If it is ok then check the switch mechanism to see if it gets power.

You have a faulty connection in the cord and need it checked. Disconnect battery and check the cord for the charging system for breaks in the cord wires and for a bad connection where it mounts to the transformer. If it is one unit you may need a new charger.
If nothing looks broken on the joystick the batteries may have become disconnected when the chair hit the ground. Check all wiring connections on the chair. You can test to see if there is voltage getting to the joystick with a voltmeter.
well if u need the charger on then batterys are dead and need to be recharged,or have the batterys checked make sure they are ok by testing a load on them at a local auto parts store for free,if no good make sure u get same type of battery and make sure it is a gel battery not a acid battery
I need one too. I found the owners manual on-line and it says the AC/DC Adapter we need is 12volts and 2500ma (2.5amp). I wrote to the company to see if one is available. If not, I may just try to find one that matches the voltage and amperage, cut off that odd male end and wire it directly. the only issue will be finding the positive and negative.
The problem may be that the power cord's internals were broken by keeping the wire plugged into the chair at a bad angle That damaged the connection. If this is the case, you may need to purchase a new power cord.
Try shopping online for a replacement or calling the manufacturer.
How to Connect a Pyramat
Pyramat gaming chairs are high-end video recliners that integrate audio speakers and subwoofers to increase video game immersion. Pyramat chairs feature speakers and woofers placed at the head and elbows of gamers for a surround-sound effect. The chairs come in two types. Game chairs are similar to regular computer or office furniture. Gamebags are reinforced beanbag chairs with installed speakers and controls similar to the game chairs. Each of these must be connected to the console or computer to run properly.
Things You'll Need:
Pyramat game chair or gamebag
12-volt AC adapter
3.5 mm audio cable
3.5 mm RCA audio adapter
Close all programs and power off the computer or console that you are connecting. Power surges or connection problems could cause damage to the devices if still plugged.
Connect the 3.5 mm audio cable to the control area on the arm of the chair or side of the gamebag.
Plug the other end of the 3.5mm audio cable into the stereo jack on the computer or console. Use the RCA audio adapter if the console has only A/V cable support.
Connect the 12-volt AC adapter to the chair and insert the other end into a grounded power outlet, preferably one with a surge protector.
Power on your game chair or gamebag using the control and turn on the console or computer.
Adjust the sound settings on the chair and your video game device to suit your preferences.
Tips & Warnings
Do not get your game chair wet as this can damage the speakers and controls.
All necessary parts should be included with your game chair. If it is missing anything, contact Pyramat customer service for replacements.
make sure it really doesn't have a charger ...
How,by taking that seat off, disconnect the joystick cable ,
take off the seat ,remove the black should which does or will cover the U1 Gellcellbattery's you will have to buy. In the back of that chair there will be a box that has two cords one that pugs to the power cord( you'll also be needing to buy ,you can from radio shack if you don't have one that is)but the other wire connects to the model "'brain'' of the chair that's in the front of the chair. If its not there you'll need a on board charger, pluse two battery's and that power cable that plugs into the back of your chair ,It looks like and is the same as the power cable in the back of you computer.
If you have an on-board charger for your power chair this outlet is for your charger cord. One end of the AC cord plugs into the wall outlet and the other end plugs into the trapezoid shape outlet on the side of the chair. This is the same shaped AC cord used to power computers and other devices. You can buy one a most hardware stores and places like Radio Shack. If you are using an off board charger which plugs into the front of the joystick (round plug)to charge the chair, then you don't need to use the on-board one and you don't need another AC cord. Hope this helps.
You will need to connect the charger that was issued with the power chair to a working electrical outlet (do not use an extension cord or power bar/strip), turn it on and connect the other end to the power chairs' charging receptacle. Keep it connected for 8-12 hours or until the light on the charger indicates the batteries are charged. If the charger indicates the batteries are charged but the charge does not last more than 1-2 hours, they batteries may have gone bad, are worn out and need to be replaced. Good luck!
