Question about Kenmore 63942 Dryer
I GET A PF ON THE DISPLAY FOR A COUPLE OF SECONDS. IF I UNPLUG IT FOR A DAY THE PF COMES UP AND I CAN GET IT TO RUN FOR ONE TIME. I ALLSO CAN'T TO A DIAGNOSTIC TEST.
PF is a power failure. The unit is detecting a loss in power, but it should operate fine after the code is cleared (unplugging and plugging back in).
If the problem persists, then either you have an issue with the AC power coming from the wall outlet or the main board is faulty. Also make sure to check all the connections on the terminal block (where the AC cord attaches to the dryer) to make sure there are no loose wires or screw terminals.
