the manufacturing company always has the manuals or maybe even the drivers you need. so go to the coby webpage and search for your MID for your tablet and you should be able to find it quite easily.

Almost all Android devices can be rooted without affecting what is presently on the device. Please not that if you root the device you will need to un-root it in the event you need to return the device.
