Question about Televison & Video
We have a Sony KV-1972R TV (quite old), and we've lost channels 2, 3,and 4 on the TV. I'm trying to figure out how to manually add them backinto the TV, since we don't have a remote control for it. Any help would be appreciated. I remember having done this before, but can't remember now how I did it. Thanks :)
You need to get a universal remote to program the channels back to your KV-1972R.
Here's how you do it, first program the universal remote for your TV. After that, use the remote to dial in the channel you want. Now on the TV below the "Sony" label, there is a cover hiding the controls for color, tint, etc.. Press it and the cover should open, you should see a button labeled "add", push it and the channel you just dialed in should be memorized...

Go to menu and select add/delete channels. Then select 02, or 03. Some channels that are selected the numbers will show green, channels not locked in will be red.
