Paper Feed problems for Cannon MP600

I have a Cannon MP600 and it will not feed the paper one at a time. It always grabs multiple papers at once and messes up the printing. I think it's because I once did a Pinterest idea to print on a paper lunch sack and somehow it screwed up the feed. Any ideas how to fix this?

SOURCE: Paper does not feed - GRABS RIGHT SIDE

I once had a similar problem a few months ago and I tried EVERYTHING I could do (Without shaking the printer, I was scared to do that) nothing worked, till I actually got up on a chair and looked into my printer (It is up on a rise above my computer) and there was a push pin sitting in the feeder opening! (Remove pushpin = then it was fine)

Then it started doing it AGAIN yesterday at a time when I really needed my printer, and this time there was no obvious pushpin or any obvious obstruction. I read all the stories here and thought *WOW they had things that far in there?!" So I tried harder and FINALLY after opening the back panel I saw with a flashlight there was a FROOTLOOP (I don't even HAVE any frootloops in my dorm! XD) jammed in the right side inside it! With a chopstick I was able to get it out and now it's fine again. OMG.

But yea, things like to get stuck in printers I guess. XD

gears below the paper feeding tray are damaged or some dust particle have blocked the gears try to clean it by blowing the dust use normal greece (oily substance) between the gears so that they can move frequently to pull the paper, and if the gears are damaged you have to change the gears.

SOURCE: my cannon pixma ip1600 has

Normal 0 I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press the print button applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it will feed through the printer. The reason for this is in some cases I have been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited there over time.
Worth a try, as I have fixed a number of printers this way, saving costly repairs.
Hope this helps. Bud

Always paper jam error on my cannon 3530

Check for a paper fragment at either end inside the printer chamber or underneath the paper feed roller cover plates. Anything that holds a paper feed sensor arm open will give you paper feed errors, and they can be remarkably small.

My cannon mp600 printer makes a whirling noise when i switch it on.and comes up with error 6B00. the noise sounds like the cartridges are struggling to move across

From reading up specifics...

i have a couple of different pixma printers but have done similar things...

Paper feed position error [6B00]

possibly something is jamming the paper feed... like a toy or pen down the back or a tiny piece of paper?

have a good look ... maybe blow out with AIR DUSTER ... (still no go?)then after that try turning printer upside down and give it a gentle shake, yes, really

be careful though

if helpful please rate

The printer wont load the paper in anymore it will grab it on the left side but not the right

Please help me here. What model printer are you using?

Does it have multiple paper trays?

More then likley, the paper feed rollers are either worn or contaminated with paper dust and are not letting the paper be grabbed and pulled from the tray properly.

It could also be the paper pick solenoid not mechanically pushing both sides of the spring loaded tray up into the paper feed roolers. Or in the case of a true paper tray, preventing both sides of the tray from lifting with the same force.

Paper Out or Not Loaded Correctly (E-03) - BUT have paper in it!

Hi, please check if there is any foreign objects that was stuck when it try to grabs mulitple pages. Then power cycle your printer. Make sure also that the left edge guide or platen lever is seated correctly as the paper is loaded perfectly in the feeder and try printing. If issue still present it only means that the sensor that responsible in grabing papers in the paper feeding section is damage or the mechanism that holds the paper was get damage when the printer feed multiple paper at the same time. You may need to call the printer manufacturer and ask for service.
