Question about Computers & Internet
The larger box is the subwoofer. the speaker is in the box with no obvious grill because it is used for bass and the box contains a "maze" through which the sound travels before exiting the bottom (usually) of the box. to resolve the issue, go into the control panel, then hardware, then device manager. locate the heading SOUND DEVICES. click the heading to drop down the devices that are under this heading. right click on the first item in the list and select...UNINSTALL DRIVER. confirm the removal and move on to the next, doing the same until no devices remain under the SOUND DEVICES heading. Reboot the computer and let Windows reinstall the devices. On the speakers, set the volumn controls at halfway. On the subwoofer set all controls to halfway. Now, play a CD.......
