Hello, just basically unplug your tv from the wall. Wait about 60 seconds. Now don't be impatient here wait the 60 seconds. And then plug it back in this will reset your tv.
Without any holes on the rear of the set it either has some sort of base mount or a specialized hanging mount. Best advise is contact Vizio and ask their customer service (877-698-4946). They would also be able to sell whatever you need to complete the installation.
first get a wall mount kit. ikea sells them cheaply.
there should be 4 screw holes on the back of the screen. screws goes in there.
first drill 2 holes on the wall mount the ikea kit using expanding bolt then screw in the ikea kit on the monitor just hang the monitor on the wall side.
but..... 15 inch is a bit smallish for wall mount... dont ya think?
1. Unplug all of the cables and cords from your GV42L
FHDTV10A.
2. Place the GV42L FHDTV10A face down on a soft and
flat surface (blanket, foam, cloth, etc) to prevent any
damage to the TV.
3. Pull the stand cover off by squeezing the sides to
release the retaining plastic tabs.
(This is probably the trickiest part to find this, just feel around and don't be too rough with the plastic)
4. Remove the four (4) screws
(screw's specs: M4, 0.7 Pitch,
15mm long) so that the stand
base can be removed.
5. Gently remove the stand
base
6. Now, the GV42L FHDTV10A can fit securely to a
mount (sold separately) by utilizing the mounting
holes in the center of the back panel of the TV.
Please make sure to read the instructions of your
specific mount to properly hang the GV42L
FHDTV10A
I just wrestled with this problem. The screws were backed all the way out but I could not remove the stand. I had to remove the screws completely from the holes, then the stand can be pulled down then off.
First you get the wall hanger. Screw one part to the wall. And then screw the other part to the TV. then you hang the TV on the part screwed to the wall. Hope this solution has been helpful?
There should be some holes in the thermostat base for screws to go through. If the holes in the wall are wallowed out get some wall anchor inserts and put them in the holes and run the screws into them.
Yes allmost all flat screens are wall mounteable. It will require find the screws or bolts holding the table mount to tv and removing. If your tv has extra threaded holes on back then it is mountable.
