Question about Mitsubishi WD-60737 60 in. HDTV
I turn tv on,,seems fine then all of a sudden tv turns itself off,,i turn it back on and in less than 5 mins it shuts off again and this goes on for hours at a time before the tv will actualy stay on,,why does this happen. we recently replaced the bulb and had no shut off problems for about two weeks but now its all starting over again. Why could be causing this problem? its driving my family crazy.
When it shuts down notice what light is lit , what color and is it solid or blinking. Respond to this same post for assistance and I will assist you with the issue.

Yes, you are correct. there are a few component issues on the power circuit board that will need to be replaced. the mani component will be the capacitors and transistors.if not repaired soon, this unit will completely stop working.

If you have sound and no picture on a DLP it usually means that there is a problem with the Lamp. When you say amber light, does this mean that its the amber lamp light?
