Bosch Axxis WTE86300US turns itself off after ten minutes, won't turn back on for a few minutes after that

I would bet you have a bad sensor. There are a couple of sensors that monitor heat. When it gets too hot they shut it down as a safety precaution. Once it is cool enough it will start up again.

Forgetting that the computer was on, I went to turn it on and shut it off while in sleep mode. The screen won't work.

A monitor does not normally save any states such as sleep. If unplugging the monitor from the power source for ten to twenty minutes and re-plugging it in does not fix the problem check and see if the monitor's menu comes up.
Even in sleep mode, the menu for the monitor should show. If it does, try resetting the monitor to factory default settings. If the menu does not show up, then there is an issue with the monitor.

Hi the sceen goes black when it is switched on for ten minutes if I switch it off for a few minutes the sceen comes back on. It will then shut off again after a few minutes. Thanks Alan

This is due to the inverter for the backlight, or the backlight itself going bad. You are going to be better off replacing the screen unless you are handy with electronics.

If you navigate through the menu system, you will find several items of interest on the Custom Settings menu.

Item c2 controls how long the exposure meter remains active when no operations are performed. It ranges from four seconds to thirty minutes, and also has a "No limit" option.

My 441 model monitor heater kicks on but cuts off in about ten

Mine cut off also. I thought it was the wall plug. But as it turned out, I took the cover off the back, cleaned the filter (kinda like a blow dryer clogs in the back) and it is working fine now..... Hope that helps...

HP mx 70 Monitor

This is a problem usually with the Power Supply unit inside the Monitor. Often it is the Electrolytic Capacitors arround the Heatsink area. They dry out and go faulty.. It is generally a job for the "Shop" I get them all the time... But in saying that intermittent faults are the hardest to find.. If you do take it to a shop, ensure you get a firm "Quote" and explanation B4 proceeding.
