not going to work. That remote is for a DVD, and not reprogrammable.

For the comcast xfinity remote use the philips code 11454 from the lcd tv section. That is the code that I got to work

Call Xfinity to get another Digital HD DVR mine is a RGN200N it has a programmable remote you can program 3 devices using the codes provided in the guide. Does the box that remote controls offer HD? Or just digital TV?
