Attach power wire to positive side and ground wire to the negative of your car battery it would power up then eject cd, be careful when doing this don't touch any of the other wires to the battery. Might have to add longer wire to the power and ground wire.

2010 Toyota Camry CD player showing CDIN even when the cd is not inside. how to remove this problem

Try removing the battery cables. Then replace them in a minute. This will cancel everything on the radio and cause a reset. You will have to program all your radio station presets, but it may resolve the issue. If not, I would consider replacing the whole system. The life expectancy of Toyota audio systems is not the best. I have had many Camrys, and they usually quit after 6-7 years. But the cars will run forever !

I have a mazda millenia 01. I put a different cd player in my car. Cd playee would not play and engine light is on now. When i first start my car the gages go up, then back down.. lights on inside...

You apparently have a vehicle with the Anti-theft system on the Audio system. I would put the original player back in to avoid future problems! The vehicle will behave erratically while the replacement unit is installed!

The CD player does hardly read self- burnt audio CDs although every one of my other cheap Players i have at home or in the car can read them.

The answer depends upon the age and precise version of your Bose system. Not all CD players can reliably read CD-R and CD-RW discs, and even those which do are sometimes picky about the brand of recordable disc in use.

In my experience, all of the Bose Wave systems I've worked on have contained surprisingly cheap/average parts inside considering the luxury price-tag. Either stick to using other cheaper (and often far better) CD players for CDs you've burned yourself, or look into getting the CD laser pick up inside your Bose replaced with one which is known to have no issues with CDs of different reflectivity to standard pre-recorded CDs.

Panasonic CD player model #SC-EN7: CD will not play, keeps saying "reading disc", but the disc does not spin, the transverse deck has been replaced with no change in status.

There may be dust inside the unit on the laser. Try shoting some compressed air in the CD drive area to clean out. Also, ensure that the CD surface is clean, and try a different factory made audio CD. Sometimes CD players have problems reading "burned" CD's.

Never had audio on this compaq. presario.

Put your PC on. On the menu, left click, setting, control panel, and then add hardware. This is find out whether you have your sound card installed or not. If
not, have it installed by clicking on the add hardware menu. Or you can click on the Systems, then
hardware, and finally the Device Manager. Right click
on the sounds, audio to find if it is working properly. If it is, then check your speaker systems. Set the
volume to the lowest level just enough for you to hear
a sound. Plug it to a small radio output, and find out
if it has audio (sounds). No sound, replace it. If it is
OK, your have no other alternative but to install sound
driver software by CD. If this is not available, you can
download it from the internet. Type at the search en-
gine blank (Free sound, audio, driver software) and
left click the search engine. Once you have the site,
you can click at the download. Back to your PC, After completion, click the download open and install
it. Just follow the instructions and you will have sound
driver software installed. After finishing the download,
you can test it, by putting a CD inside your CD player. Click open your media player, and play.

How to Remove Car Radio from Nissan Murano

If you disconnect one of the battery cables for about 30 sec and reconnect it, that will reset the CD player. Then you can put in the key and see if can eject the offending CD. My bet is that it won't. I own a 2006 with a failing CD (getting it replaced on warranty next week). The CD player in these cars is a real stinker. Nissan should be ashamed.

My mothers Teac DC-2831 skips when playing cds. We have used cd cleaning disc, and even compressed air. Nothing! What can we do? If we have to take it to a repair shop, can you give us one in the Los...

My DC-2831 started doing the same thing -- and continued, despite repeated cleaning with a CD-player cleaning disc. Oddly, older CDs would play OK, but brand new ones -- commercial CDs, not homemade -- would promptly begin skipping or lock out altogether. Solution?

Unplug the system, lock the turntable stylus arm into place with the attached C-clamp, then carefully unscrew the back and side panels. Once the innards are exposed, gently lift out the CD-player and visually inspect it for hidden dust, pet dander, even fur can get inside there and gum up the works, and that's something NO CD-cleaning kit can ever reach.

Once you've inspected and cleaned the CD-player of all visible dust and dirt, carefully replace the player, make sure it's seated properly within the shell, then reattach the side and back panels in the exact reverse order as you removed them. THIS IS CRUCIAL: if you don't put the stereo back together in the exact reverse of how you took it apart, you'll have components off-kilter, screws that won't go back in (and leftover screws are a sure sign you're screwed it up!) and your CD-player will be even more temperamental than ever. Word to the wise.

If all this sounds too scary, then you'll have to either live with the crappy CD-playing performance, or get a new system. You can't replace the CD-player unless you buy an entire new system. WARNING: these all-in-one turntable systems are VERY RARE anymore, so don't get mad and kick your TEAC or toss it out or give it away on a whim. You'll play hell trying to find a replacement.

Hope this helps!

I had a rca system similar to this little different. It's a problem you'll find in any cd player after awhile. You'll need to replace the laser. It's quite easy google for some instructions to replace a cd laser. Look around for a laser that can read cd's and cd r and cd rw and you'll be ok. The disassembling might be a bit tuff but it's worth it. I had to replace my hifi laser and after i did sound was incredible again no skipping. Make sure when opening your system you power it on and unplug it to make sure all charge is gone wait 30 minutes or so before you go and operate.
