SOURCE: CHANGING OUT A FAN MOTOR

The black and white wires get 220 from the contactor. The brown and brown/white go to the capacitor. I do hope you bought a matching capacitor to go with the new motor. They don't cost much and make the hook-up way easier.

SOURCE: RV AC, how to wire fan (blower) motor to capacitor.

You almost have it Look closer at the run capacitor. It has Herm, this is for the compressor, Com or C and F or Fan.

1 of your power wires is the fan speed so connect them accordingly usually black is hi, blue med, & red is low. You are "feeding" voltage to the selector switch on 1 side and coming out to the fan motor speeds.

Next you have a "Common" wire on your fan motor (this means its Common to all the other connections inside the fan motor to me. It is usually white. Connect this to the other line of power usually the Com on the capacitor unless it connects to a strip on the selector switch. But 1 of these 2 places will be the other side of your Power when plugged in. Lastly the brown it is usually the fan capicator only wire and it will connect to the fan "F" terminal on the capicator this terminal will not have any other wires connected to it.

This should make you a happy camper. Please rate me accordingly and good luck.

SOURCE: i need to change blower motor

See if you can move it freely by hand. If so, change the fan capacitor. If tight, try oiling the motor.

Goodman AC blower is not working. How do I fix this problem?

You need a simple relay. But, if you want it to run and never stop temporarily, take the black wire off the relay on the board ( the wire that goes back to the 240 side of the transformer and run it straight to the speed tap from the motor that's connected to the relay. I'll help you with the relay when you get when but this will make it run provided the board or relay is bad.

Mars blower motor diagram?4 wires

Gentlemen,
I have a GE P547BS fan motor. I find replace it with a Mars 10584 fan motor. GE has five wires, BRN, YEL,PUR,BLK,RED. Goes through the capacitor with the yellow going on to 200 V the purple and black go to 220 V. Mars motor as a six wire connection two Brown's go to the capacitor. yellow I'm assuming goes to the hot/neutral and a black I would say would be high-speed blue is medium and red is low. Now when I connect with this way it blows the fuse. Anybody run into this problem before? Any help? By the way, it's a 240 V single phase system.

Replaced old Ge 1/2hp fan blower motor w/ emerson motor wire not the same couldnot get to work. motors has blk,blue,red,white/brown, brownw/white strip/furance wires are blk, red, white could some tell me...

I am assuming you still have both motors, if you look on the side they will show you what wires go to what. Your Brown/white should be for the capicator. blk should be blk, blu might be white and red be red. I couldn't really say for certain with out looking at the diagram on the side of the motors. I hope this helped Tim
