This could be the mechanism is bent, a spring is loose or you might have not seated it right (if you have been inside it).

My wii console won't load discs

are you sure there isn't one still in there? These things cannot really be fixed yourself, but you can take it in if still under warranty, if not your local electronic repair shop should be fairly cheap, it is a common problem, and at least if they do the work, they are responsible for it.

Why isn't my wii reading my game discs

If it is having problems reading game disks, it sounds like the laser that is used to read the data might be dirty. I would recommend purchasing a Wii Lens Cleaning Kit (which is also available at many retailers such as GameStop, WalMart and Best Buy) and see if that makes the system run any better.

Wii could not read disc

There could be several things wrong. Let's start with the most basic - is the disc inserted correctly? The holographic side needs to be on the left when inserting it. Then, make sure there are no scratches or smudges on the bottom of the disc. A common solution is to wipe it with a cloth or even your shirt if you don't have one handy. Look on the holographic side of the disc to make sure there isn't anything left on it. After cleaning thoroughly, try playing the disc again.
If you're still having a problem, try restarting the Wii console. However, there's always a possibility that you have a bad disc or, if you're unable to play any games, a bad console.

How can I hook up my Wii to my mothers TV? It is usually connected to my TV...I cant get the Wii to acknowledge the Wii remote at all.I even tried changing the batteries/remote but nothing. My 10yr old...

To get the Wii Mote Connected to your wii Take off the back cover of the Wii Mote, Hold down the Red button for a few seconds, Then on the Wii Console pull open the little door just under the Disc Drive and press the Red button on there. This will allow the Wii-Mote to "Sync" to a different Wii-Console
Hope This Helps.

Wii unable to accept/eject disc making buzzing sound

  • When the disks were put in/taken out the little plastic clips in side the wii may have broken off. Might be stuck near the motor. Gently shake while rotating the the wii with all the cords off with no game inside. listen for anything loose. If your lucky the piece will go to another part of the wii. Best thing is to find someone to take it apart to check.
