Question about Acer Aspire 3680 Laptop
It sounds like the blue tooth device was disabled on your computer. Try to go into the control panel and then double click on the systems icon and get into the hardware manager ( i have not had the pleasure of working much with vista so you may have to look around but you want the device manager) find the blue tooth device and right click on it and select enable. If it does not show up in this list try to refresh the list and if you cannot see it still it may be turned off in your bios. This is a whole nother set of instructions so lets see where this gets you first.
After you enable the device you will have to reinstall the driver most likely
