a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I work for a cable company and there are some new tvs that wont program to our remotes.... but you can go to there office, ask for the newest remote... and make sure you have instructions and try to do the auto program... if you dont find it within about 5 minutes of scrolling the codes... your out of luck :-/

the answer that you seek...is already in your hand
search the web for manuals? seek a helping hand?
flip over your remote control...and open up your eyes!!!
read the battery cover then slap your head for you've found where the secret lies.

SOURCE: CODE FOR A REMOTE CONTROL
I am not sure of the model remote but, on the newer TW remotes you would press tv then press and hold set up until the tv light blinks twice. then enter 991 on the number pad and then press power once. then press the channel up button until the tv turns off. as soon as it turns off - press the power button and if it turns on then you have the right code. If it doesn't turn on then press channel down until it turns on. either way, when the tv turns on then press set up again to lock that code in. Hope that helps.

Would have to know what digital box you have. On the back you should have a model number, and there maybe a separate brand other than time warner.
