In my HTC HD2, Windows Media Player does not work and there is no sound of incoming call even in Profiles it is set to "Normal". I was trying to free some space and, may be, deleted some needed files

SOURCE: "Memory is full. Please delete some messages."

Initially go to Internet explorer
select menu
select tools
select options
choose the memory tab
delete all cookies and temp files

If there are more messages in send items delete that too.

Well with the phone turned off, press and hold the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons, then press the END/POWER button shortly and release it. You will then see a message on the screen asking if you're sure about resetting it. If so press the VOLUME UP key. It should boot shortly after that.

How can I install Android 2.2 in my HD2,thanks.
Prerequisite to run Android 2.2 Froyo on HTC HD2

1. Flash HardSPL3 on HTC HD2
2. Flash any HTC HD2 Radio ROM Leo_RADIO 2.08 onward

Guide to install and run mattc Leo + Froyo w/Sense 1.7 build

1. Download zip file here.
2. Extract contents of zip file to your SD card. Note - Android folder should be located at root level (SD card\Android).
3. Using file explorer in Windows Mobile, inside the 'Android' folder run CLRCAD.exe (to fix audio issue). Don't worry, it will appear to do nothing, that is normal.
4. Run Haret.exe.

Note - Android 2.2 Froyo on HTC HD2 is not perfect yet compare the actual Android phone HTC Desire. Some functions are not working. And I got white and black screen of death (SOD) sometimes. How can i have tv live streaming on my htc hd2
Try downloading the Playon app from the android marketplace and on your computer. Some tv stations have live broadcasts you are able to view through your 3g or wireless phone connection to your computer. www.playon.tv/playon has detailed instructions.

Phone will not power on. Problem with the HTC HD2 Smartphone Phone will not power on. It also will not hard reset. I was downloading an android app and then it just cut and has not full restarted since
1. Please remove the battery, sim chip, and power adapter 2. Wait 3 minutes, ensure the phone HAS COOLED OFF, then install the SIM CHIP, BATTERY, THEN POWER 3. DO NOT power up phone yet 4. Set the phone to charge for a least 15 minutes 5. Try to turn on your phone, if your still having problems, please return so I can continue helping you.

My htc hd2 wont ring or vibrate even after i have did a factory reset
go to settings, then press the menu button so you go to all settings, tap sounds and notifications, then along the bottom tap notifications, then from the event drop down list select "phone: incoming call" and then on the ring type drop down list select "vibrate and ring"

that should do it ;.)

Your phone need a software upgrade.

HTC Touch doesnt ring on incoming call
Hi. First thing, you can check your sound settings, by tapping Star Menu, then Settings, then Sounds & Notifications, and through that page, you can check if your incoming call alert is on (just sound, or vibrate and sound), you can try to change the ringtone to see if your current ringtone is damaged or not. (Since other sounds are alright, there shouldn't be any problem in your hardware or in the sound volume levels) Hope this helps.
