Question about Dometic Rooftop RV Air Conditioner
I have a duo therm 15000 btu on my Airstream. From one day to the next the thermostate stopped working. I replaced the thermostate and it still won't come on and turn the ac on. I checked and I have power running to the a/c . It's just not getting thru to the thermostate. Any ideas ?
Not being smart about this suggestion. Don't buy an RV or Motorhome unless the full set of factory repair and diagnostic manuals are included. My friend is having fits now because the company techs can even figure out what is wrong with his AC.

Look for a small fuse somewhere in the control panel. Usually a blade type (car) fuse 3 to 5 amp. Chack to see if its blown. If you have no fuse, or its NOT blown. Check to see if you have voltage comming out of, and going into the transformer.
Thsi is where you would START to diagnose the problem. Check this and we can go further.
