Get it? to use the other driver?  You can transfer everything from one disk to another using software made for that purpose like Acronis Home or you can move things from one hard drive to another just by opening each and dragging the file or whole folder to the other drive(Not windows files) Any programs that you have installed you can reinstall them specifying which driver to load on. then delete then for the first drive.   You can save anything by specifying "SAVE AS (drive 2)  You may also just remove the junk and anythng you don;t need from driver 1. (No windows files) Text files and pictures are fine, or move them to drive 2.

You really only have one drive. The d drive is a partition of your c drive. It is used for backing up your operating system and system restore. If you need more space, delete your programs that you dont use often or burn them on a disk. Do this with pictures also. After you delete everything you dont use run your defrag. Just be careful you do not delete any windows files

Thanks for the help in advance, i have two issues if u could plz help me with i have an acer aspire 5315 laptop with 80Gb memory. The thing is this memory is separated into two hard drives, C and D. 1)I...

Disk D is for storing recovery configurations. To see what happened to your memory, go to the root directory C: from your "My Computer" icon. Scroll to the folders in the root. Right click each folder and select "Properties." The drive will add up all the memory being used by that folder. Take notes on what you have and then drill down into the folders that seem to be using more space than they should be. Delete stuff you don't need. Let me know if you have more questions.

My hard disk drives is full

Hey, i it maybe because you have low disk drives space, also you have to look for the memory of your laptop, try to purchase much higher memory, and also the trojans that you can get in the internet can also slow your computer, try to install trojan remover also.:)

My acer has lost all ethernet drivers overnight? How may i get thm reinstalled if i cant use the net. thanks

Hey,

you can get the drivers from
http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/downloads.html
Download the drivers on a computer that is online.
Use a USB memory stick or memory card / external hard drive.
Move the drivers to the external drive
Move the drive to the aspire
install the drivers from the external drive.
Let me know if you need anything else.

Thanks and good luck.

Acer TravelMate 2303WLCi

Hello,
Your particular model of laptop will allow up to 2GB of memory. Each memory slot can hold DDR PC2700 with a maximum of 1GB per slot.
As for the hard drive, I believe the standard 2.5" drive is compatible in any size you'd prefer.

Booting problems with acer laptop - no operating system found??

well ur msg clearly states operating system not found.
for this u hav to install ur OS again.
As ur sister has a branded machine u must hav got a Operating System CD-ROM with it for backup.(in ur case it must be vista)

if u hav the cdrom then turn ur system on just put the cdrom into the drive and let it do what follows.
It may ask u abt where to install ur OS(means which partition)
just select the desired partition and many other simple questions which u can easily answer incase u hav any problem I am always there.

C memory full

not possible...you'll need to back up that c drive, which is the default for all Windows programs..try a back up drive, or move some of those high density(music and image) files to a back up system

All files in c drive got deleted

I would suggest first you DO NOTHING on the laptop. Depending how important they are you could overwrite them while using the machine.

As for data recovery, stellar pheonix has a free trial. I suggest you use that.

Shoot me an e-mail and i can help you get this fixed.
