Question about ASUS M3A78-EM Motherboard
I recently rebuilt my production box after several Seagate hard drive failures. Mother board is an ASUS M3A78-EM w/ an AMD quad core CPU running WinXP-x64. I upgraded to a 64 Gb SSD to dual boot XP & Win 8 (haven't installed Win 8 yet) w/ data & apps installed on a second Tb HD. Box has been up & running & today when I went to access e-mail, the app suddenly stopped & the window closed. The computer is no longer accessing the second drive. Is this an MB problem?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

You may need to set up the RAID array before it will be detected. Look in the BIOS and see if there is a way to set up the RAID array there. If there isn't, watch as the PC boots up and see if there is an option to go into the RAID settings before windows starts. You may need to actually create an array before it will be seen.

Download the drivers from Asus. http://support.asus.com
Also make sure in your Bios your HD audio is not set to front panel.

Virus could be the cause of this problem. Try to perform system restore and observe if the error will go away or not. System restore, helps to reconfigure your computer back to the time when this error wasn't occurring.
To perform the restore, go to Start > All programs > Accessories > System tools > System restore.
Read the information on the system restore box before proceeding and follow instructions. After the system restore, the computer will be restarted.
If restoring doesn't solve the problem, please let me know so that I may direct you further on what next to do.
