Question about Acer Aspire One PC Notebook
If I press F2 at startup it brings a menu but I don't know what to press next
Press the arrow keys to highlight the Boot option. Press the down arrow key to highlight specific boot settings to change. Choose HDD for the hard drive.

Its possible the computer is trying to boot from another device, as the computer starts up hit the F12 key, this should bring up boot options, select HDD if it's in the list.
If not hit F2 as it starts and enter the BIOS, look for the boot option and set the HDD as the first boot device, hit F10, save the changes and exit.
The computer will restart and hopefully boot into the operating system

i was able to go on the acer website on another pc and found that if when you turn on your acer and hold down ALT key while hitting F10 that will bring you to a system recovery screen. you can restore factory settings from there. It will wipe out all of your documents and pix but it does fix the problem.
