Cm6040 unlock menu

Navigate the Administration menu
From the Home screen, touch Administration to open the menu structure. You might need to scroll to
the bottom of the Home screen to see this feature.
The Administration menu has several sub-menus, which are listed on the left side of the screen. Touch
the name of a menu to expand the structure. A plus sign (+) next to a menu name means that it contains
sub-menus. Continue opening the structure until you reach the option that you want to configure. To
return to the previous level, touch Back.
To exit the Administration menu, touch the Home button in the upper-left corner of the screen.
The device has built-in Help that explains each of the features that are available through the menus.
Help is available for many menus on the right-hand side of the touchscreen. Or, to open the global Help
system, touch the Help button in the upper-right corner of the screen.
The tables in the sections that follow indicate the overall structure of each menu under the Administration
menu

How i replace ETB for hp cp4025

Replacing the Transfer Belt (ITB, Transfer Kit) HP Color LaserJet CP4525 CM4530
1. Open the printer's right side door.
2. Use the blue lever (see callout 1 in picture below) to lower the secondary transfer assembly.
3. Grasp the small handles on the transfer belt assembly (circled in blue in picture below), and begin gently pulling the assembly out towards you, until a set of 2 larger handles pop free on the sides of the transfer belt assembly.
4. Now grasp the larger handles on the transfer belt assembly, and continue pulling the transfer belt straight out of the printer until it is completely removed.
5. Avoid touching the surface of the new transfer belt. Install in reverse order, sliding it securely into the machine.
6. After replacing the Transfer Belt, it's a good idea to perform a Full Calibration (or even several Full Calibrations in a row, if you are having print quality issues). Full Calibrations help with print quality by aligning the color tones, the drums, and the color plane. Each Full Calibration takes about 4 minutes. To perform a Full Calibration: Press MENU to enter the menus. Press Down Arrow to highlight CONFIGURE DEVICE. Press Checkmark to select CONFIGURE DEVICE. Press Down Arrow to highlight PRINT QUALITY. Press Checkmark to select PRINT QUALITY. Press Down Arrow to highlight FULL CALIBRATE NOW. Press Checkmark to select FULL CALIBRATE NOW. Wait for the printer to calibrate (usually takes 4 minutes or so), and then print a test page. If print quality still needs improvement, repeat the Calibration. If multiple Calibrations don't help, some of the toner cartridges may need replacement.

? Cold Reset
CAUTION All HP Jetdirect settings are also reset. Be sure to print a configuration page
before performing a cold reset. Make a note of the IP address that is listed on the Jetdirect
page. You must restore the IP address after performing a cold reset.
Use this item to unlock menus that have been previously locked and to set all control panel menu
items (including EIO settings) back to the factory defaults. However, using this item does not clear
the values in the SERVICE menu (such as the serial number and page counts).
NOTE Before performing a cold reset, print a menu map and a configuration page.
Use the information on the configuration page to reset any customer-set device configuration values that the cold reset procedure changes.

Have a hp laserjet 3005n printer, that will not boot up. Is there a way to reset it?

Thank you for contacting FixYa with your printer inquiry.
Here is the info you requested on a reset. We may have other issues including the formatter.
HP LaserJet 3005 Cold Reset A cold reset unlocks menus that have been previously locked and sets all control panel menu items (including EIO settings) back to the factory defaults. However, it does not clear the values in the SERVICE menu (such as the serial number and page counts).
NOTE Before performing a cold reset: print a menu map and a configuration page. Use the information on the configuration page to reset any customer-set device configuration values that the cold reset procedure changes.
1. Turn the device off. 2. Turn the device on. When the memory count begins, press and hold the [SELECT] button. Continue holding down the [SELECT] button until all three device control-panel lights flash once and then remain on. This might take up to 10 seconds. 3. After the message SELECT LANGUAGE appears on the display, press the [UP] button or [DOWN] the button until COLD RESET is highlighted. 4. Press [SELECT] . The device performs a cold reset and then continues its power-on sequence. 5. Check all I/O settings and reset any customer-set device configuration values.
If that fails try this info: The formatter Part # is Q7848-61002

HP Color Laserjet 3500 Problem

If you are sure the diagnostics show the colours correctly, one thing I would look at is to see if it had a colour profile set up for it.Don't know whether this printer normally has, if it has not I would suggest reinstalling the driver. To check - Start/Printers & Faxes/ Rt click on printer then properties, look under Colour management tab. Pete
