Jamo dmr40 auto standby problem

My Jamo DMR 40 is consequently going into standby mode after less than 2 minutes. I went to the Jamo dealer where they said they replaced the internal motherboard. Now after long time (9 months) of not using this receiver player, the same problem pops up. What could be the problem? I have no warranty any more. I tried different situations, cables, modes but the auto standby problem stays.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: DVD player stuck in standby mode

Bad caps in the power supply is causing this. C17 (10v,470uf), C17,c14 (10v,1000uf) and C18 (10v,470uf). Replace with same capacitance values but 25 volt rating 85 C. Just fixed mine half hour ago works great.

Help how to best connect sky hd and PS3 to a Jamo

you will have to use a component cable or optical lead from your ps3 to the jamo and sky hd to be connected via scart.
for best image, buy an HDMI CONNECTORS switch that will allow you to run many HDMI TO IT and from the switch you only need one to the tv so the jamo still output to the tv.

remember that you will have to get an automatic one so that it can select when you are using each element.
