Question about Whirlpool GGQ8831L Gas Dryer
Dryer wont start up, sounds like a car engine that wont turn over. we think the pilot light went out, but not sure where the pilot light is...
any suggestions are much appreciated!
If the drum is not turning, then the belt may have broken and could be (because of the noise I think your describing, partially wrapped around the motor pulley.
Modern gas dryers do not have standing pilot lights. They are electronic ignition.
Chances are, you solve the belt problem, you'll solve the (I guess your having) heat problem.
Please respond with more detail of the problems you are having, and advise if the belt is broken.
