Try lowering the brightness and other settings relative to the Screen/Video. If it's an old battery it may be discharging and need of replacement.

Battery low, dont't start

just a bit of sage advice. most of us men don't bother to read the instruction manuals but I finally did out of boredom. this really works. when you first get your new laptop or replace the battery, competely charge the battery before you use it. then completely drain it or wait the low battery indicator comes on then again plug it in and let it fully charge then fully deplete. patience will pay off. this needs to be repeated a total of three time. I get about three hours out of mine now that I so this.

Try removing the main battery and unplug the power, then hold the power on button down for 30 seconds, if this does not work, remove the cmos battery for 30 seconds to reset the bios

I just bought a new Acer netbook (A0532h - Model # NAV50) from Staples. The wireless connection is fair (same as my other laptop) yet the page transitions on my new netbook are painfully slow. Any...

This device should be about 90% as fast as your laptop.
The slowness could be caused by the number of programs you have opened at any given time. The system is not really designed to run multiple programs.
It can also be caused by the excess software on the hard-drive, and its condition.
Try removing any 'demo' software and other programs that you will not use (stay away from the OS) and then run the defrag program in Windows.

Acer aspire one D150-1Bw battery not charging

the battery is gone dude. This year manufactures have reduced the quality of batteries drastically to cut down the costs and i think u got even the worst of them.

and whats more they they dont even give warranty on batteries for more than 6 months.

so U'll have to get new one. Sorry
