If you have a black remote, try holding TV (with your television on) then pressing the 'zoom' button on the bottom right of the remote. Then press fast forward (FF) every second or two until the set shuts off. Then press 'zoom' again.'
If it's silver, hold TV, press 'OK' and then enter 922. Then press the Play button until the set turns off and press 'zoom.'

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

We cant find our original element remote control. I just tried 10178 on the direct tv remote control and it worked YEAH!!!! We just can't do the screen size edit thing with it :(. Might still have to order a replacement element remote. This works for now. Thanks.

I went through all the Sanyo TV codes and then started entering in groups of 10. The U-verse offered 1103 i did 1100 to 1110 and it worked with 1107. Unfortunately at&T said you have to check the manufacturer which doesn't list universal codes. I was lucky on the Sanyo 18.5" LCD from Walmart using 1107!

SOURCE: I need the 4 digit
AT&T don't list any codes for Hannspree, but I have it on good authority that either code 1004 or 1018 work for Hannspree. Others have reported that the some of the codes for Vizio TVs will also work. There are: 1489, 1429, 1433, 1439
If none of these codes work, please let me know and I'll try to find some alternatives. It would help if you could let me know the model number of your TV to narrow my search.
I'd also be grateful if you could let me know which, if any, of the above codes worked for future reference.
