Question about Stiebel Eltron Mini-4 Tankless Water Heater

Stiebel Mini 4 won?t activate using 40l/min pump

Hi,
I’m using a 40 l/min pump to run water from a tank through the Stiebel Eltron Mini 4, but the unit won’t activate. I tested the pump and the water heater separately and they both work fine; the pump seems to run enough water and the water heater works fine on public water system.
Also, when using the pump the water flow coming from the water heater is very low.

You have to make sure that the pump is flowing enough water to activate the Stiebel. The tankless unit has a activation rate of a certain amount of water to turn it on.

You will have to drain the tank, make sure when doing this to OPEN the pop off valve, the little handle on the drain pipe, or the water will not drain.

What s de minimum working pressure for a tempra 24?

Hello. let me help you. The water pressure is what it is in the house. In other words, the tankless water heater doesn't increase the pressure of the water, it only heats the water. There is no official minimum pressure but the minimum pressure you would be happy with in any home would be 20 pounds per square inch, PSI.
