SOURCE: Jazz Digital Camera JDC87

This one is easy. The alkalines simply do not have enough power. You will have to upgrade to a better battery such as rechargeable Nickel Metal Hybrid (NiMH). Problem solved guaranteed. The new batteries must be rated at 1600 milliAmp hours or better. I use Monster brand rated at a very good 1850 mAh and work very well. I bought a Monster brand charger with 4 batteries for under 20 dollars. This info is for AA cells and will vary for AAA's.,,,,,,good shooting!

Connect it with the USB cord, and explore the sd card... There will be a folder on it which says music. Open the folder and just drag & drop!

SOURCE: I only get 2minutes of video time after adding a 8GB SDHC card

There is small button on the card which needs to be unlocked so that the card is ready for recording. Also make sure you have changed the media from internal memory to Card in the settings section.

Thanks

Specs show SD/SDHC memory card slot for adding up to 8 GB.
I would recommend SDHC that is high speed (class 10 or above) and high capacity.

Hi! My name is Aubrey Lucille Jones,im 11 and i have a Jazz z40 camcorder and when i turn it on witha 2 gb sd memory card and it just says "Read Card..." and does not let me record anything and i...

Hi, Aubrey.
Maybe you can trick the camera.
Try taking out the memory card, then turn on camera and then put memory card back in.

Sometimes this will work with digital cameras.

Also, make sure your batteries are good in the camera. If they are getting old, you might need to get new ones.

I hope you get it going, and good luck !!

Sd card not recognizable

I read the following spec for your camera: Recording Media Internal Flash Memory 64MB Video/Image
SD/SDHC Up To 32GB Video/Image
So, I think that an 8 GB SD card should work.

Try another capacity and brand to make it work.

When I turn on my Jazz DV 152/ T20 it displays "Read card..." and then nothing happens...I have a 4GB SDHC card by SanDisk...both camera and card are new....is this a faulty camera or am I doing something...

Usually the first thing you need to do with any SD card and Camera is to go into the settings of the your camera and Format the SD card. This has to be done for each memory card you use with that camera. i.e. a SD card formatted on a Panasonic HD camcorder won't work in your Jazz Camcorder. The formatting is different between the two camcorders. New SD cards don't come formatted.
SO try inserting the SD card into your Jazz Cam and rummage through the setting until you find your memory settings. From there find the Format Memory Card function, format the SD Card and you should be good to go.

Fuzzy video with Jazz dvk141

the resolution of this camera is not very high, with only 3.1 megapixels. you can go to websites like fixmyvideo.com to improve the video, but to get better quality in future videos I would suggest buying a camera with more megapixels. 7 or 8 megapixels are relatively good and you can get a camera with that many for about $90.
