No audio --only video. Volume control is present on screen when I try to adjust it-- indicates lowered and/or increased volume but no actual sound.

No audio--just video-- onscreen indicates volume adjusts up and down--but tv emits no sound at all.

Move the flat screen plasma from wall to stand and now now volume. Picture is fine. Volume dashes shows when volume control is adjusted using the remote. But no volume. Please help!

Do you mean you have no audio, but only video? Or can't turn the volume up and down?

I would check the connections and cords. Other than that I wouldn't open up the TV to void the warranty. Take it back for an exchange. There should be a 90-day warranty.

Unless your dvd player is defective you have it wired incorrectly. Have someone else check what you did.

When playing commercial DVD's, my DR-MV150B starts to stall. It stops with the picture on the televsion screen, but can't see the rest of the movie. Any thoughts? The disc does eject.

I have checked cables and different methods of connecting, but the white and red audio out of my PVR appear to have stopped putting out sound.

Go through the setup of the PVR and check the sound settings. It sounds like it's only producing digital audio, that's why it works with HDMI but you want analog, so set the audio to stereo, or try every setting to see what works!

I have a toshiba LED TV Model 40PB200, i bought it two months now. Recently, the audio in port started producing a sound as if microphone is on and the VGA for computer flickers when i connect a laptop on...

One thing is that unless it is usb you should always have the devices powered DOWN before connecting them via" wire electric data cables". it only takes 3 static volts of electricity to damage a circuit board. when you zap you buddy when you wear sox its 20 to 30,000 volts of static electricity so 3 volts would not be known let alone felt or seen. Power down and you will be well not you .

My tv has gone some orange colour

Try unplugging your tv and anything connected to it - you might want to take a picture first so you have a reference. I would also unplug everything connected to the tv: cable, stereo, etc. Wait a few minutes, then plug in and re-connect everything.

You can also go into your TV's setup menu and adjust the picture settings - try restoring the default settings first.

I can't get my Comcast remote control to sync up with this sylvania 32in HD tv. I tried every code in the Comcast DVR manual under sylvania tv's and nothing, I would love a fix to this problem.

the tv is likely to be generic in nature i.e. parts used by many manufacturers. if you knew what tv builder actually designed it you could find the code. does the remote have a search feature if so use it, it should find something that operates most tv functions eventually
