CHECK THESE:
lid flashes when the following conditions occur:
➔ User presses START with lid open.
➔ User presses START after 2 consecutive machine cycles
without opening lid.
➔ The machine/motor control cannot detect the lid switch
opening and closing properly.

F1 comes up and it stop on the rinse wash cycle also how do you take the top off to get to the basket?

F1 is the board not communicating with the motor, almost all the F1 codes i have come across have resulted in a replacement of the board. But to answer your question, you will need a putty knife or flat head screwdriver. Slide it into the crack in the top front of the machine approx. 2 inches from the right side, you will be pushing the lid clip. Once you push it in you can lift one side up. Repaet on the opposit side and it should lift right up. Be sure to tape the lid shut so it does not come flying open when you lift the top.

Thanks, Repairman45

Flashing F1 code, how do I fix

F1 code is water leaking. 1- Dry out the bottom housing to make the F1 disappear. 2- Replace Actuators and the lid seal to prevent this happens again. The actuators is pulling down from the left and right sides to hold the top lid against the top surface of the tube groove to seal water from coming out during the wash cycle. When actuators are bad, they can not hold the lid down or make the lid tilted to one side hence the leak is coming. When the lid is tilted for a long time the seal is distorted then it has to be replaced since it is out of tube groove shape

We moved house and now our Hoover 200m machine does not work at all, seems like a fuse or something similar as there is no power to it at all now

Lift the lid up. There is a cut switch that is lid activated - top of bowl on right. turn on power, start cycle, lift lid, get a skewer and move that toggle slider switch foreward. You should hear the machine start to fill.
This is what happened to me after jolting/moving the machine, and a big relief it was that easy :-)

My kenmore washing machine will not enter into the last cycle and will not rinse out. Silly as it may seem banging on top of the machine with the lid closed sometimes gets the machine to start again and...

Hi, check lid switch, open lid, check carefully locate lid switch, or lift top of machine, get access to lid switch, could be broken or faulty, also check all wiring harnesses, there could be loose connection, check timer connections, all other connection, but first check your lid switch. when you lift lid, look for small slot, on machine around area lid covers, use something to press and release lid switch, preferable something non conductive, i use a small screwdriver. it could be just broken / faulty lid switch, or loose connection, you can check yourself, or let someone check for you, that's no big deal, always switch off power, before doing any repairs. good luck.

Washer agitates, drains OK, but spin doesn't start

Timer is defective. Your unit has a netural drain. When finished agitating, the shuts down and then starts up reversing to drain and spin. On the initial reverse start, the water drains without the transmission spinning. After a timed period 3-4 minutes, the timer is supposed to pause, stopping the motor for a few seconds. When the motor stops again, the transmission shift to the spin cycle and when the timer resumes power tothe motor it should spin. You are doing the same thing when you lift the lid...stopping the timer and then the tranny shifts and when you set the lid down, the washer spins. Replace the timer.......

Whirlpool cabrio top loader, always having to "reset" 2 times 1 cy

Hi Curtis: File a class-action suit against the Whirlpool company. There is something wrong with the electronic module that tells the washer to shut down during the rinse cycle.
If you pause, lift the lid, pour in about 3 gallons of water into the tub, close the lid, push start, the washer should continue without having to wear out your fingers pushing the buttons. The buttons will eventually be pushed down into the control panel and you will have to use a pencil to reach them.
Also helps to have a nice cool bottle of regular beer (not the light stuff) before you start the load, the washing duty will work out much smoother. Good Luck.
