Typically you normally will have five wires controlling your furnace and airconditioning. R Y W G C. If you get some thermostat wire. Connect them like this---- red wire will go to R(this is your 24V to thermostat)----yellow wire will go Y(Y is your cooling)----white wire will go W(W is for heating)---green wire to G(green is your fan)---black can go to C(this is your common to supply 24Vto thermostat)

I have a Coleman AGU10016A Gas Furnace which initially runs fine but after a certain time shuts off and cuts gas to burners and pilot what is the problem?

That's a safety to prevent an unsafe condition. It is caused by any number of protective devices such as flame roll out, blocked flue pipe, fan stopped working and causes the heat exchanger to get too hot and trip the limit switch etc. Call a qualified tech to deal with gas appliances. Gas isn't a DIY thing.

As your unit had just 2 wires, Red and White, you had just heat only with no AC and no fan on as described as you have no green circuit wired up at the furnace or thermostat, you can add a relay if not equipped but that would make your unit very old.

Coleman evcon wrong polarity or twinning error what does this code mean

It will probably means you have your hot and neutral wires crossed. The furnace has 120 volts coming in to it from your house. If the hot and neutral wire are wired to the furnace wrong, it will show this error. Take the electrical box loose where you can see the power cord coming in to the furnace. (turn off the circuit breaker to the furnace) Take the white and black wire loose , connect the black where the white wire was and the white where the black was. All you are doing is reversing polarity. I hope this works for you.

Hello, have you tried jumping the R and W wires on the thermostat sub base? If this turns on you furnace than the thermostat is bad, however if there is no display on the thermostat and does not power up by jumping the R and W Wires then most likely the transformer is bad and must be replaced.

Furnace blower not working how it should

first off buy yourself a honeywell stat, in my personal opinion lux stats are garbage, I have run into so many that are bad stats !!! but as far as your fan not shuting down, sounds to me like your fan center on your circuit board is bad and will not shut down the fan when needed, you will have to replace the circuit board, as the fan center is a part of the whole of the circuit board, hope that helps
