Question about Sony Gran Turismo 4 for PlayStation 2
I've tried 2 different copies of Grand Turismo 4 and neither will load. All other games load up fine. Any suggestions?
I had the exact problem and i finaly found out how to fix it. im not sure how well this would work on the slims but it worked on my older one.
because of the type of disk it is it sometimes makes it difficult for the laser to read it if yours is older or dusty. so to fix it all you have to do is to clean the laser. i found a youtube video that shows you how to. and now my game works like new.

I had this very same problem and almost kicked the PS2 into the wall. I have been told on good authority that when this happens the laser unit needs replacing. A Sony technician told me this but I have never tested this to know if this is the problem. Hope this helps.
