Question about Ovens
Oven heats up then shows error code F 10 any ideas as to what is bad.
The F7 error code on your oven indicates the touch pad has failed. To repair it you will need to replace the touch pad which is listed as a control panel w/keypad in the parts diagram.
If you do the repair yourself, disconnect the power to the oven. Take the 3 screws out above the door that hold the control panel on to the oven. Pull the control panel out at the bottom and lift it up, then pull out the top and drop it down so you can see the back side of the control panel, and you will see a ribbon connector going from the touchpad to the electronic oven control (ERC).
There is a latch holding the ribbon connector to the ERC, raise the latch to release and pull the ribbon out of the ERC.
Replace the part and reverse these instructions to replace the control panel.

Try this first!
The control panel has a flat ribbon cable that plugs into the relay module. The ribbon is actually two ribbons pressed together. The plastic insulation has a defect, and the leads between the two ribbons cross. You can seperate them easily by lifting them apart. Place a piece of paper between them to act as an insulator. This should solve your problem. If that does not work, repalce the defective parts yourself. You can do it for about 30% of what a repair company would charge. it's either got to be 1. Control panel 2. Relay panel. Good luck!!!

There is a probelm with the control panel. You can fix it for about a penny. The panel has a printed ribbon cable that plugs into the relay board. The ribbon cable is actually two cables pressed together, which can be seperated by simply lifting them apart. The ribbon cable has a defect in that the plasic insulation is defective, causing the leads between the two ribbons to cross, or short circuit. Simply place a thin sheet of paper between them, and make sure you push the paper down all of the way to the plastic housing, fold over the edges around the cable, you are done.

Please, don't replace anything before trying this first! The insulation in the ribbon cable is poor, so the conductors in the cable become crossed. The ribbon cable is actually two ribbons pressed together, and the conductors between the two cables are shorting or becomming crossed. Lift the two cables apart, place a piece of paper between them, fold the edges of the paper over the cable so that it does not slip out, and make sure to shove it all the way down to where it will meet the plastic display panel housing. There, problem solved, and you didn't have to buy new parts.

Hello - This manufacturer does not show to have such an error code for a wall oven. However the error codes F30/F31 indicates that the unit either has an issue with the oven sensor, wiring with the EOC or the probe connections is open or shorted. Contact a professional to move forward accurately.
