SOURCE: sew easy sewing machine breaks thread

The machine is not threaded correctly, also use medium weight fabric. Check the size of needle. Try a size 14. The bobbin tension may be to tight. If nothing works take it to an expert. After he fixes it make sure he shows you how to thread it.

SOURCE: My sewing machine won't pick

Return the White product and purchase a Singer. I purchased a White 2308, had the same problem, repairman couldn't fix it, so I purchased a Singer and have had no problems.

I doubt White will let me return the machine since I purchased it some time ago and gave it as a Christmas gift to granddaughters 2008. So, I'm probably out the money I paid for a piece of junk, but I'd rather pay for a better machine and not be so frustrated.

SOURCE: The bottom stitch jamming up

seems like the same problem I haad so I tried changing the needle looking for burrs or bent needle. maybe a piece of broken needle in the bobbin holder. or maybe the fabric requires a certain needle or the needle size is too big for the fabric you are using. or the machine needs cleaning I have started using canned air for this. and then if this fails then you should note the tension position and then try adjusting it one point at a time. always puting it back to where it was to start with good luck

After sewing a few stitches, the machine gets jammed. the top stitch looks fine, but underneath there's a ton of thread all bunched up (top spool thread)

What you are seeing is called "bird's nesting." There are two main reasons for "bird's nesting."
The first one is the thread not between the tension disks. That allows the thread to be pulled from the spool instead of pulling the thread tight from underneath. Always make sure to always put up your presser foot before you thread the tension disks. I also check the thread after I finish to make sure the top thread has good tension on it before sewing.
The second reason is the thread is not being pulled by the take up lever. Make sure you see it being pulled by the take up lever before you start sewing. If not, rethread it.

Good luck.

My sewing machine stops sewing and thread gets jammed underneath the fabric

Change your needle, and retread properly. then make sure you are holding the threads when you start a seam.

I have a Singer Touch and sew 600e, the bobbin thread is all bunched up and machine jams up with thread. How can I fix this? Is there a simple setting that I am missing.

try changing the needle
rethread the machine top & bobbin
make sure the bobbin is inserted correctly in the bobbin case
make sure the top thread is not coming off the thread take up lever
make sure the bobbin is wound correctly
if these suggestions don't work, I suggest that you take the machine
to a sewing machine shop to have it checked

I am trying to sew velcroe on some pillows and the bobbin thread keeps bunching up underneath the fabric and making jerky sounds...heellpp!

do not use self adhesive velcro........ the glue jams the cotton.
use the plain sew on velcro.

use a largr size needle as well.

Your bobbin cotton is probably wound on too tightly

Needle jams and breaks off

Needle jams....Thread is caught in the hook...solution...Remove the upper thread and bobbin case, turn the handwheel backwards and forwards by hand and remove the thread remands.

Needles breaks
1. Needles is damaged..Insert new needle
2. The needle is not correctly inserted....insert flat side towards the back
3. Wrong needle size for the fabric...Choose a needle to suit the thread and fabric.
