SOURCE: Croton automatic watch, band problem

Unless you have the appropriate tools for the job, it is likely that you will mark or damage the links taking them out yourself - any reasonable jeweller will be able to perform this service, normally only costing a few dollars at most. You could also return the watch to Croton to get this done if you prefer; http://www.crotonwatch.com/contact_us.aspx If you are still determined to do it yourself, then it is fundamentally just a matter of identifying the removable links (they will have a small screw head visible on the side), buy the correct size screwdriver(don't get a cheap one, it will do your watchstrap no favors) then it is simply a matter of unscrewing the link pins required, reassembling the pin where you wish to rejoin the strap - use loctite or similar to keep it from undoing, but be careful not to get this in the moving parts of the strap. if you can post a close up picture of the removable links from all sides, then i could talk you through it in more detail. Hope this helps :)

How do we open the wrist band?

Without seeing the wrist band I can only give you the general ways to get the ban off. At the watch there is a spring loaded pin. You will have to get something small enough to get in between the band and the holding point. If you are going to take out a link then it is either a screw style or a push style. If it is a push style you need a small post of some sort and a hammer to tap it out. If you buy a jewelers kit it is pretty easy but you can find things around the house to do this.

I need a replacement bracelet for my Cartier 21 Chronoscaph watch?

My black rubber watch band is cracked and in need of replacement. I refuse to shell out $500 for another rubber band from Cartier. This is my first and last Cartier watch... Poor customer service on a very expensive watch.
500 per one rubber; is not expensive is a steal

The rubber band broke on my seiko dive watch--unable to get the pins out without breaking them--any suggestions on removing the pins

mcdevito75 here, Best Bet, you may need a special tool to remove and replace the SPRING BARS (PINS) that hold the band onto the watch, then you may even need new spring Bars, (pins) to re-attach the band to rthe watch. BEST BET, look for a small watch repair shop in your area to change the band.

Croton Men's All Stainless Day/Date Sport Bracelet (CA301091SSDW)

I had the same problem & called Croton. If the band has arrows on the underside of the band they are pins that are pushed in. If that is the case, just find something like a punch small enough, or very pointy, and tap the pins out in the direction of the arrows underneath the band. If there are no arrows on the underside of the bands, then the pins might be threaded & screwed in.
