I regret to inform you that there is no available Lexmark Z640 driver for Macintosh operating system. Drivers available are for Microsoft (Windows) only. I hope I can assist you more on this.
I googled Epson support and found the answer. Here it is:
Macintosh Leopard Support
Contact Support Welcome to Macintosh OS X 10.5 Leopard support for Epson products. Here you can find out how to get drivers and other Epson software for your Epson product that work with Macintosh OS X 10.5. Check your Epson product CD to see if it already contains Macintosh OS X 10.5 drivers. If the CD indicates support for Macintosh OS X 10.5, follow the instructions that came with your Epson product to install your drivers and other software. If your CD does not list OS X 10.5 Leopard, follow the Step-by-Step Instructions below. View our Macintosh OS X 10.5 Leopard FAQs.
Not compatible or not working well with windows 7?
Maybe, It doesn't work because the driver/application you installed is
for other versions of operating system. I am also using windows 7 like
you so don't you worry, You can still use your old installer/driver from
other versions of operating systems. Just remember that before
installing any program in a windows 7 Operating System Computer, Use
"troubleshoot compatibility". Right Click the Icon of your program
installer/application first, then choose "troubleshoot compatibility". This will
allow you to choose on what type operating system your program will run.
Just reply back if it still doesn't work.:D rate and vote for me:))
N oyou not need to purchase new 1 / But just make sure that your usb devcie is not conflicting with any other driver or device. For that uninstall your zoom adapter usb driver then reisnstall. Also some usb adapter give some memory space so if you have memory space on your zoom adapter then scan it for viruses or format it. Then it works fine. Let me know if you need more assistanse. Thanks.
traded it in for a Belkin F5D7050B....
