Bluetooth's like most electronics that are mass produced are often defective, especially a cheaper brand. you should be sure to check that the volume is not turned off, and that your headset is correctly paired with your handset. If so an icon on your home screen or in-call screen will appear, or a light the blinking light on your phone may blink a different color when your headset is correctly paired with the handset and turned on, and connected. After you have made sure of these things, and if you still experience the problem you have a defective headset, at which point you will have to return the headset from where you purchased it to receive one that works. good luck

If the headset icon appears on your blackberry while you are on call and can't hear the person on the other end, you'll have to dial this code ##002#. If the problem still persists then take you mobile to a blackberry certified point for on the point repairs as i suspect that the speaker is faulty and needs replacement.
